Spokane Storefronts: Stop Scrambling Every October

If you run a shop on Garland, in the South Perry District, on East Sprague, in Kendall Yards, or anywhere downtown, you know the pattern. It is the third week of October, someone notices the window looks bare, and a staff member gets sent to a party store on their lunch break.

The result is decor that cost more than it looks like it cost, went up late, and comes down in November leaving the window empty again until someone remembers Christmas.

The math on last-minute decorating

Most businesses do this four or five times a year — Halloween, the holidays, Valentine's, spring, back to school. Each round is a staff member's afternoon, a trip, and forty to eighty dollars of supplies that go in the bin. Call it several hours of payroll and a couple of hundred dollars a year in materials, for displays that look exactly as improvised as they were.

And that is the cheap version. The expensive version is the customer who walked past because the place looked closed.

What we do instead

We run a rotating seasonal display program. We build the display, we install it, and we come back and change it out for the next season. Nobody on your team thinks about it again.

  • Window Display — $295 a month. One feature window, changed every month.
  • Storefront — $495 a month. Window plus an entrance installation.
  • Full Frontage — $795 a month. Entrance arch, flanking columns and window.

Every package includes twelve professionally built installs a year, your brand colors matched precisely, custom decals printed in-house, and install and removal by us. No contract and no cancellation fee.

For a storefront, the display does the same job as a sign — except it changes often enough that regulars actually notice it.

If you only want Halloween

That is fine too. One-off fall and Halloween installations start at $120 for a window display and $200 for an entrance arch or column pair.

The October timing, plainly

Book by the first week of October. Every decorator in Spokane installs Halloween in the same ten days, and the last week of the month is when we start turning work away. If you have ever wondered why the good-looking storefronts had theirs up on the 1st, that is why.

Districts we serve

Downtown Spokane, Garland, South Perry, Sprague Union, Kendall Yards, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Post Falls and downtown Coeur d'Alene.
